About St Canice’s
A Mercy-and-Marist coeducational college, Years 7–12 — academic and pastoral in equal measure, leaning forward without losing its ground.
A complete college, in motion
St Canice's College was formed in 1998 from a Sisters of Mercy girls' college and a Marist Brothers boys' college, and carries a dual Mercy and Marist charism, now led by a lay team in the Diocese of Carrenford. Around 1,180 students, 150 staff — a college confident about where it is heading.

The Lumen Program
Year 7 transition, belonging and formation — and the Year 9 Kilbride Journey.
The Lumen Program settles every new student through integrated inquiry and a literacy and numeracy focus. In Year 9, the Kilbride Journey pairs outdoor education with an urban social-justice immersion.
The Aquinas Scholars Program
Extension, mentoring and competition — the da Vinci Decathlon, Olympiads and Mock Trial.
Aquinas Scholars are stretched in the Champagnat Centre and across every subject — and, like every senior, are pointed toward a real destination through the Futures Program.

A dual Mercy and Marist charism, a chapel at the campus heart, and faith carried into action.
The Chapel of the Holy Name stands at the centre of campus. The College gathers for College and House Masses and feast-day liturgies — Founders' Day, Mercy Day, the Feast of St Canice — and year-level retreats culminate in the Year 12 Emmaus.
