Problem: I am logged in but can't see my school
If you are logged in but can’t see school or school details, the best thing to do is logout by clicking: “Menu > Account > Sign Out”
You will then reach the welcome screen and be prompted to enter your email and phone. You may have to re-verify each. Verification is done via a code sent yo tour mobile phone or email (remember to check spam).
If you have already been authorised by the School you should be able to instantly see the schools you have registered.
Android users who continue to experience issues may have to implicitly clear their app’s stored data by:
- Open Settings → Apps (or Apps & notifications → See all apps).
- Tap the app.
- Tap Storage & cache.
- Tap Clear storage (or Clear data), then confirm.
Problem: I've logged in but it says I don't have access to the school
You may have logged in or registered a phone number and email that is different to the one that the school has on record. This means the school may have to re-approve you, or you can attempt to login with the phone number and email originally given to the school.
Other noteworthy changes
You won’t be able to take a screenshot (Android Only)
– We’ve restricted the ability to take screenshots on the app in order to strengthen privacy, security and children safeguarding
– Apple devices currently offer no way to prevent screenshots in their operating system, however if it is introduced then we will implement this.
You can set a pin or biometric login
– Similar to your bank apps, you can set a pin or biometric security on the app, this is to maximise security for all parents and guardians of the app in-case they lose their phone and someone else gains access to the app. In which case only the registered parent’s fingerprint or face-id can open the app.
If you have children at 2 different schools
– You will see a mixed news feed across both schools, but also be able to see whats happening in each individual schools. This is to help parents from needing multiple apps, logins or from switching between schools
