Your website is often the first impression for prospective families and a key hub for your community — this upgrade is designed to enhance your online presence and make your school shine.

The process is simple, supported, and focused on helping your school put its best digital foot forward.

The Upgrade Journey

Upgrading your website might feel like a big task, but we’ve made the process as simple and supported as possible. From submitting your request to going live with your new site, your dedicated Customer Success Specialist will guide you every step of the way.

Before You Start

Choose your new website template

Your current Schoolzine website will be upgraded using one of our new, professionally designed templates. You’ll be able to select the template that best fits your school’s needs and branding.

While your website’s design and layout will be updated, your existing written content will carry over as-is. If you’d like to make changes to this content, you’re welcome to provide updated wording during the upgrade process.

Our team will provide guidance on best practices to help ensure your site meets accessibility standards, maintains brand consistency, and communicates clearly to your school community.

Prepare your images

Our new templates use modern layouts that feature larger, high-quality images. Some photos currently on your website may not suit the new design due to size, resolution, or orientation.

If you plan to update any of the images on your website — such as banners, staff photos, or key page visuals — now is the perfect time to prepare them. Having new, high-quality images ready will help speed up the process and ensure your new site looks its best.

Not sure what kind of images you’ll need? Don’t worry, your dedicated Schoolzine Customer Success Specialist will guide you on image dimensions and file types during the process. We recommend having a selection of updated, high-resolution images ready to choose from when the time comes.

Nominate your main contact

We understand schools are incredibly busy, and upgrading your website might feel like added work on an already full plate. That’s why we’ve made the process as simple and supported as possible. To help keep things running smoothly, we ask you to nominate one main contact person. This person will:
