As a Schoolzine customer, you want to make sure that your newsletters and communications are being read by as many people as possible, and that they are engaging with your content.

To assist you in maintaining or increasing your engagement rates, we’ve put together some top tips:

Ensure your contact list is up to date:

One of the most important factors in email engagement is having a clean and up-to-date contact list. Make sure you regularly remove any old addresses from your list, and that you are adding new subscribers as they come in. You can achieve this by using the ‘Subscribe’ Web Form, adding or removing contacts directly via the ‘Contacts’ page or by completing an Import using an Excel Spreadsheet.

Use multimedia:

Online newsletters and communications are a great way to incorporate multimedia elements like images, videos, and flyers. The Gallery function within the Newsletter product allows you to easily showcase the achivements of many students, in one neat module. This not only makes your content more engaging, but it also helps break up long blocks of text and makes it easier for readers to consume.

Provide valuable content:

Your newsletters and communications should provide valuable and relevant content to your audience. Consider showcasing achievements, engage parents in your planning, include event announcements and other information that your community will find useful and interesting.
